I understand how heavy it feels when everyone’s trying their best, but nothing seems to change. My sessions help families see that no one person is the problem. It’s the patterns between us that keep everyone stuck.

When connection breaks down, family life feels chaotic. When we shift even one part of the system, the whole family starts to move toward balance again.
As a relational therapist, I support families in rebuilding emotional closeness and healing patterns that have carried through generations. In sessions together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the conflict, slow down escalation patterns, and practice new ways to connect.
You won’t just talk about change, you’ll experience it in the room together.
Helps families identify reactive patterns and unmet attachment needs; restores emotional safety and connection.
Helps each family member understand their own protective parts; reduces defensiveness and increases compassion.
Looks at the whole family as an interconnected ecosystem; small changes bring the entire system back into alignment.

My background and training have always been relationship-focused. I completed my original family therapy training at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and I’ve spent my career helping families strengthen connection, reduce conflict, and find steadiness together.
Therapy with me is calm but direct. I’ll name what I see with care and clarity, and we’ll practice new ways of relating right in the session.
When I’m not in session, I love cooking, woodworking, and spending a lot of time outdoors. If you’re ready to take the first step toward a more connected family, I’d be honored to meet you.
My availability: In-person therapy in Austin and online for Texas residents.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, which is why I’ve designed the process to be easy and clear:
1. Contact Me. Fill out the contact form or click my booking link. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll connect you with someone who might be.
2. Brief Consultation. We’ll talk about your goals and what’s been hard at home, then decide if this is a good fit.
3. First Session.Together, we’ll start exploring your family’s patterns and practicing new ways to connect and communicate.
With understanding and practice, you can move from surviving each day to enjoying being together again.
