I know how painful it is to feel unseen by someone you love, and how powerful it can be when you finally feel understood.
My clinical training in family systems therapy helps me guide others through that same healing process with clarity and care.

Daughters often feel like they are never understood and they’ll never fully be seen for who they are. For many mothers, it can feel like no matter how hard they try, their efforts to connect fall short. Beneath the frustration is often the same longing to feel heard, accepted, and close again.
As a relational therapist who specializes in mother and daughter relationships, I will guide you toward emotional connection. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that shaped your relationship, uncover the patterns that keep you both guarded. We’ll look at what fuels the disconnection, name what’s been missing, and practice new ways of relating that make emotional safety possible.
This work isn’t about assigning blame. It’s about learning to lead with care, heal old wounds, and build a relationship that supports connection and trust across generations.
Builds emotional safety so hard topics can be discussed without shame or defensiveness.
Helps each person understand the protective parts that react in conflict; opens space for compassion.
Addresses the cross-generational and/or inherited patterns that influence both of you; creates lasting, family-wide repair.

I’ve spent much of my career helping mothers and daughters heal from emotional disconnection and find their way back to each other. My training at UT Southwestern focused on family systems and attachment, and my own lived experience gives me deep empathy for this work.
Therapy with me is steady and compassionate, but also active. We’ll talk honestly about what’s happening between you, and I’ll guide you toward new ways to listen, respond, and rebuild.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, woodworking, and reading. If you’re ready to begin this healing work, I’d be honored to support you.
